This promo rewards everyday purchases with baseline eGCs and boosts earnings for spends in specific categories like domestic travel and dining. Cardholders accumulate rewards by meeting spend thresholds during the period, with redemption available shortly after.
Eligibility Requirements
To participate, cardholders must meet these criteria:
- Be a primary UnionBank credit cardholder with a unique Registration Code, available credit limit, and no restrictions under gifts, anti-bribery, or corruption laws.
- Maintain an active account in good credit standing throughout the spend and redemption periods.
- Supplementary card spends count toward the principal cardholder's total. Disqualification occurs if the card becomes delinquent, cancelled, or inactive during the relevant periods.
Promo Mechanics
Follow these steps to join and earn:
- Register by creating or logging into a UnionBank Treats Hub account at https://www.unionbankph.com/treatshub. Enter your unique Registration Code and the last four digits of your active UnionBank credit card, then click "JOIN" on the GU Holiday 2025 promo tile. Confirmation arrives via email.
- Make qualified spends from November 25, 2025 to January 31, 2026. Transactions need a minimum of ₱1,000 per receipt and can be local or foreign, in-store or online, straight or installment. PayLater and PayBills transactions of at least ₱1,000 qualify.
- After the spend period, compute rewards and redeem eGCs from March 2, 2026 to May 1, 2026 by clicking "REDEEM" on the Treats Hub. Use eGCs within this redemption window; they cannot be transferred.
Key Benefits
The promo splits rewards into baseline for general spends and booster for category-specific ones, totaling up to ₱20,000 eGCs for a maximum qualified spend of ₱500,000 in booster categories.
Baseline Rewards (General Spends: Straight, Installment, PayEasy 0%, PayBills):
- ₱50,000 spend: 500 eGCs
- ₱100,000 spend: 1,000 eGCs
- ₱250,000 spend: 2,500 eGCs
Booster Rewards (Domestic Travel, PHP eComm Shopping, Dining, PayEasy 0% Installment):
- ₱50,000 spend: 1,500 eGCs
- ₱100,000 spend: 3,000 eGCs
- ₱250,000 spend: 7,500 eGCs
- ₱500,000 spend: 17,500 eGCs
Boosters apply only after achieving the ₱50,000 baseline threshold, and total rewards cap at ₱20,000. Foreign exchange spends qualify for baseline but not boosters.

Non-Qualified Transactions
These do not count:
- Pre-promo PayEasy balance payments
- Select UnionBank services like EasyCash, cash advances, balance transfers, fees, or payments via QR/mobile banking
- Casino/gambling, wholesale/distribution, cryptocurrency/stock trading
- Mobile wallets (e.g., GCash, PayMaya), social media/cloud payments
- Business/non-personal transactions, cancelled/refunded ones

- ₱50,000 general: 500 baseline (FX not in booster)
- ₱50,000 with ₱10,000 travel + ₱5,000 eComm: 500 baseline + 1,000 booster = 1,500 total (did not meet ₱50,000 booster min)
- ₱100,000 general: 1,000 baseline + 1,500 booster = 2,500 total
- ₱250,000 with ₱50,000 travel + ₱15,000 dining: 2,500 baseline + 3,000 booster = 5,500 total
- ₱250,000 with ₱70,000 travel + ₱50,000 eComm: 2,500 baseline + 7,500 booster = 10,000 total
- ₱500,000 with ₱150,000 travel + ₱90,000 eComm + ₱260,000 dining/PayEasy: 2,500 baseline + 17,500 booster = 20,000 total
Overlapping Promos
If eligible for multiple UnionBank promos, cardholders receive only the highest-value reward. Examples:
- Promo A ₱2,500 vs. this promo ₱1,000: Get ₱2,500
- This promo ₱4,500 vs. Promo B ₱3,000: Get ₱4,500
