UnionBank x Mitsui Promo
UnionBank credit cardholders visiting Japan have an opportunity to pick up shopping vouchers and coupon booklets at select Mitsui facilities. This promotion runs from April 1, 2026, to May 31, 2026, and is designed for foreign tourists exploring shopping outlets and parks across the country.
Promo Mechanics
To receive the benefits, cardholders need to visit the tourist information center or general information center at participating facilities. Present your UnionBank credit card along with the QR code from promotional materials. The process is straightforward:
- Step 1: Arrive at a designated Mitsui location during the promo period.
- Step 2: Show your UnionBank credit card and the QR code at the information center.
- Step 3: Receive your shopping vouchers and coupon booklet on the spot, subject to passport verification as proof of being a foreign tourist.
- Step 4: Use the vouchers and coupons for purchases at the facility, charging the total to your UnionBank card.
Note that transactions must occur within the promo period, and only one card per transaction is allowed. Splitting purchases is not permitted, and the offer includes VAT but is not exchangeable for cash.
Eligibility Requirements
This promotion is available to principal and supplementary UnionBank credit cardholders whose cards are issued by Union Bank of the Philippines, provided they have an available credit limit and are not restricted by anti-bribery or corruption regulations. Foreign tourists from overseas qualify exclusively, and passport checks may apply. Cardholders with senior citizen discounts can choose the higher benefit. Refrain from commercial use.

The promo provides practical savings for shopping:
- Shopping Voucher: JPY 500 x 2 (total JPY 1,000), redeemable only at the issuing facility and valid for one week from issuance. Limit of one set per customer per day.
- Coupon Booklet: Up to 10% discount, with one coupon applicable per purchase of 5,000 yen including tax.
- Duration: Valid from April 1, 2026, to May 31, 2026.
- Merchants: Includes various Mitsui Outlet Parks and Shopping Parks, such as Mitsui Outlet Park Sapporo Kitahiroshima in Hokkaido, Mitsui Outlet Park Sendai Port in Miyagi, Mitsui Outlet Park Makuhari in Chiba, and others across Japan (full list below). Some tenants may not accept vouchers, and participation varies by location.
