The MICHELIN Guide has arrived, marking a new era of dining in the Philippines. UnionBank invites select Visa Credit Cardholders to join the Star Course Series, a unique collaboration featuring chefs from MICHELIN Starred restaurants.

The series continues on May 15, 2026, at Gallery by Chele, a One MICHELIN Star and MICHELIN Green Star awardee located at 5F Clipp Center, 11th Avenue corner 39th Street, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig. This event, titled TERRA NOVA (“New Earth”), is a one-night-only dinner starting at 5:30pm.

Chefs Jose “Chele” González and Carlos Villaflor of Gallery by Chele team up with Chef Gerard Villaret Horcajo from Elements in Bangkok, inspired by Ciel Bleu. The menu highlights sustainable gastronomy, blending Philippine biodiversity with French and Japanese influences.

This immersive experience is reserved for select UnionBank Visa Credit Cardholders.

Participation for Existing Cardholders

UnionBank offers existing principal UnionBank Visa Credit Cardholders a chance to attend this four-hands dining experience. Only those who receive an SMS, email, or Viber from UnionBank with a unique registration code qualify.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Active account in good credit standing during spend and redemption periods.
  • Cards issued by UnionBank or acquired by UnionBank.
  • Available credit limit.
  • Not prohibited under anti-bribery laws.
  • Updated contact information; not opted out of marketing communications.
  • Cards activated before March 18, 2026.
  • Excludes employees of UnionBank, Visa, partners, and their relatives up to second degree.

Notification and Claiming

  • Notified via SMS, email, Viber, registered mail.
  • Attend dinner at Gallery by Chele, 5F Clipp Center, 11th Ave corner 39th Street, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig, May 15, 2026, 5:30pm.
  • UnionBank covers 20% tax on prizes over ₱10,000.

Qualified Transactions and Exclusions

  • Straight: Local or FX retail purchases.
  • Installment: Local UnionBank PayEasy 0% (online/offline).
  • Exclusions: Non-qualified MCCs, UnionBank services (e.g., EasyCash, bills), gambling, wholesale, MO/TO, crypto, trading, mobile wallets (e.g., GCash), social media payments, business transactions, cancelled/refunded.
  • One card per transaction/cardholder.
  • Inclusive of VAT; subject to charges/taxes.
  • Non-transferable, non-exchangeable.
