Good credit standing means the card is not on hold for being reported lost or stolen, the account is not delinquent, not under investigation for suspected fraud, and no terms and conditions have been violated.
Qualified Transactions
Only certain transactions qualify for the cashback:
- Online, mail order, or telephone order straight transactions.
- Made at online ticket-selling merchants under Merchant Category Code 7922 (Ticket Agencies).
- Transactions through point of sale or call and delivery do not qualify.
- Metrobank's reports determine qualified transactions based on the merchant category code tracked in their system.

Qualified transactions must be cross-border, made online with MCC 7922, completed on the promo dates, meet the PHP 50,000 minimum spend, tagged with the South Korea country code, and not exceed the availment cap.
Non-qualified transactions include any that do not meet these criteria.
Registration and Redemption Steps
Cardholders can register for the promotion using these steps:
- Visit https://metrobankcard.mymcc.gift.
- Log in with your mobile number from Metrobank's Mastercard database.
- In the Available Promos section, click "2026 Metrobank's Cashback Ticketing Promo for South Korea" and enter your mobile number to register.
- A successful SMS will be sent to your mobile number upon registration.
To redeem the cashback:
- Visit https://metrobankcard.mymcc.gift.
- Log in with your mobile number from Metrobank's database.
- In the Joined Promos section, click check progress under the "2026 Metrobank's Cashback Ticketing Promo for South Korea" tab and enter the registered mobile number.
- Click the Claim button to get your cash rebate, which will be credited within 60 calendar days after the end of the promo period.
Availment Limits and Entitlement
The promo and cashback are based on the customer level. Multiple Metrobank credit cards under the same customer number count as one unique cardholder. Transactions by supplementary cardholders or other Metrobank Mastercard credit cards sharing the same customer number will be combined.
The principal cardholder is entitled to a maximum of one cash rebate per customer for the promo period. Supplementary cardholder transactions are included in this computation.
The cash rebate will be automatically credited to the principal cardholder's account within 60 business days after the end of the promo period and/or redemption period, with the transaction description: 2026 Metrobank's Cashback Pass Promo.
Disqualification Rules
A cardholder and their transactions will be disqualified if the Metrobank credit card becomes past due, delinquent, suspended, cancelled, or terminated before the cashback is released. Any concerns about the card account or promo do not excuse payment of outstanding balances, and Metrobank is not liable for accrued charges.
Metrobank will not extend the redemption and validity period once 60 calendar days have passed. Questions and issues will only be accepted within 60 calendar days after the promo ends, or not later than April 30, 2026, after which disputes or requests will not be entertained.
Metrobank reserves the right to disqualify previously approved transactions that are cancelled or charged back within the promo period. If a cardholder receives the cashback but is later deemed unqualified due to erroneous, invalid, fraudulent, or unauthorized transactions, the cost will be charged to the cardholder's credit card account.
Standard terms and conditions governing the issuance and use of Metrobank credit cards apply. By joining, the cardholder confirms they have read, understood, and agreed to the promo mechanics and terms.
