The promo targets select principal cardholders in good standing who receive an SMS or Viber message from Metrobank with a reference number.
Qualification Steps
- Get the promo notification via SMS or Viber.
- Activate your Metrobank credit card.
- Complete at least one straight retail transaction within the period.
Supplementary card transactions count toward the principal account. You qualify only once per account across all runs.
Valid and Excluded Transactions
Counted: Straight retail purchases made during the period.
Not counted:
- Merchant installments
- Online fund transfers to the card
- Stored value purchases (MCC 6540, like Lazada Top Up, Maya Cash In, ShopeePay Cash In, GrabPay Cash In)
- Cash advances (MCC 6010)
- ATM transactions (MCC 6011)
- Other financial institution merchandise (MCC 6012)
- Cash2Go, Balance Transfer, Balance Conversion, Bills2Pay, PayBills, PayNow
- Finance charges, late fees, annual fees, other bank charges
Cashback Details
PHP 200 credits to your card within 15 banking days after the period ends. It shows on your statement as Special Cashback First Use Bonus.
The reward stays on the account and cannot transfer or convert to cash.
Key Conditions
Keep your account in good standing. Delinquency, suspension, cancellation, or termination disqualifies you.
Metrobank may reverse cashback for cancelled, charged-back, fraudulent, or invalid transactions. Standard credit card terms apply.
