Shopping at SM Store just got more rewarding for BDO credit cardholders. Through the Buy Now Pay Later Cashback promo, you can earn cashback on your installment purchases nationwide.
The Offer
When you use the Buy Now Pay Later feature at SM Store branches, you can get P500 cashback for every qualifying single-receipt purchase of at least P5,000. You can earn a total of up to P3,000 cashback per eligible card throughout the promo period. This applies to Buy Now Pay Later transactions, whether they include a payment holiday or not.
Who Can Avail
The promo is open to active Principal and Supplementary Cardholders of the following BDO credit cards:
- BDO Mastercard
- BDO Visa
- BDO American Express
- BDO JCB
- BDO Diners Club
- BDO UnionPay
To qualify, your account must be in good standing with no past due balance during the promo period and at the time the cashback is posted. Please note that new cards issued from September to November 2026, BDO Installment Cards, BDO Corporate Cards, BDO Commercial Cards, and BDO Debit Cards are not eligible.
Important Reminders
To ensure you receive your cashback, keep these conditions in mind:
- Transactions must be made in-store or over-the-counter using the SM Store POS terminal. This includes SM Store Personal Shopper transactions paid in-store.
- Purchases from different cards cannot be combined to meet the minimum spend requirement.
- Principal and Supplementary cards are treated separately; transactions from a Supplementary card cannot be combined with the Principal card’s spend.
- Transactions made during the SM 3-Day Sale are excluded from this offer.
- This promo cannot be used in conjunction with other BDO credit card promos, such as the SM 3-Day Sale or other merchant discount programs.
Cashback Crediting
Cashback will be credited to the Principal Cardholder’s account on or before December 29, 2026. While most will receive it in Philippine Peso, cardmembers of The Platinum Card by American Express and American Express Gold Card will receive their cashback in USD using a conversion rate of USD 1 to P60. You will receive an SMS notification once the cashback is successfully posted, which will appear on your Statement of Account with the description “SM BNPL CASHBACK”.
