What’s On Offer
New BDO Gold or Classic Credit Cardholders can qualify for a P5,000 Welcome Cashback. To avail of this, you need to apply and get approved for a new card, activate it, and reach the required minimum spend within the designated period. The cashback will be posted to your qualified card once the requirements are met and the posting period arrives.
Who is Eligible
This promo is open to Principal BDO Credit Cardholders whose new Gold or Classic cards are approved between September 1, 2026 and January 31, 2027. To qualify, you must:
- Be in good credit standing.
- Have no cancelled principal or supplementary BDO credit cards in the 6 months prior to your new card approval.
- Receive a promo communication via SMS or email from BDO.
Please note that supplementary cards, virtual cards, corporate cards, and cards issued through upgrades, conversions, replacements, or renewals are not eligible for this offer.
Important Notes
To ensure your transactions count toward the minimum spend requirement, keep these exclusions in mind. The following do not qualify:
- Cash advances (local or international) via ATM or over the counter.
- Transactions from casinos, betting, or gambling merchants.
- Stock trading, foreign exchange, financial trading, and remittance services.
- Transactions used to avail of other BDO credit card promos.
- Cash or balance installments (such as Balance Transfer or Purchase Convert).
- Quasi-cash transactions, such as loading e-wallets (GCash, Maya) or money transfers.
- Fees, charges, and reversed or disputed transactions.
For those using Dual Currency cards, USD transactions will be converted to PHP using a rate of Php61 to US$1 when computing your total spend. The cashback is non-transferable and will be applied as a payment toward your outstanding balance or purchases.
