Doing your grocery run can be a bit more rewarding if you use the BDO Pay app. You can earn 5% cashback on your supermarket purchases when you use the Scan to Pay feature, helping you save a little extra on your household essentials.
How to Avail the Promo
To get the 5% cashback, you need to make a minimum spend of P2,500 in a single-receipt transaction at any participating supermarket nationwide. You can complete your transaction through the BDO Pay app using these methods:
- Scan QR: Scan the printed QR or the POS terminal of a BDO-acquired merchant.
- Show QR: Generate a QR code from your BDO Pay app and present it to the merchant.
- Scan QRPh: Scan any merchant’s QRPh code using the BDO Pay app (available for Debit Cards, Deposit Accounts, and BDO Basic Accounts).
Please note that for credit card holders, the Scan to Pay feature applies to BDO-acquired merchants only.

This promo is open to the following BDO accounts and cards:
- BDO Mastercard, Visa, American Express ®, JCB, Diners Club, and UnionPay Credit Cards
- BDO Mastercard and Visa Debit Cards
- BDO Deposit Accounts
- Existing and New BDO Basic Accounts
Key Details and Caps
While you can earn 5% back on your qualifying spends, there is a maximum cashback cap of P500 per customer for the entire promo period.
Once earned, your cashback will be credited to your eligible BDO account or credit card within sixty (60) days after the promo ends. BDO will notify you via Viber or SMS once the credit is processed. If you have multiple accounts, the cashback will be prioritized to your BDO Credit Card first, then to your BDO Debit Card or Bank Account.
Important Reminders
Keep these exclusions in mind to ensure your transactions qualify:
- Transactions at casinos or merchants engaged in betting and gambling are not eligible.
- You cannot use transactions that are already being used to redeem other ongoing BDO Credit Card or BDO Pay promos.
- Network Bank accounts and customers are excluded.
- All transactions must be made within the promo period to be valid.
