RCBC UnionPay credit cardholders in the Philippines have an opportunity to save on digital purchases through the Apple App Store. This offer provides a straightforward way to apply discounts to eligible transactions, helping users get more value from their card usage.

Promo Mechanics

To take part in this promotion, follow these steps:

  • The promotion is valid until April 30, 2026.
  • It applies only to purchases made in the Philippines Apple App Store. Cardholders must add the successfully registered RCBC UnionPay credit card in advance to their Apple Account payment methods.
  • Specific steps to enjoy the offer include:
    1. RCBC UnionPay credit cardholders must register online here.
    2. Cardholders shall sign in to their Philippine Apple Account, go to Manage Payment Methods, add the registered RCBC UnionPay card used for registration, and ensure that it is set as the default payment method (the default payment method should appear at the top of the payment methods list).
    3. When making purchases at the Philippine App Store using the registered RCBC UnionPay credit card, cardholders may enjoy a 10% instant discount, up to ₱50 discount.
  • During the promotion period, each eligible RCBC UnionPay card may enjoy the discount up to three (3) times per month.
  • UnionPay cardholders with successful registration who meet the promotion mechanics will receive an SMS notification from UnionPay informing them of the discount availment. RCBC UnionPay cardholders may log in to the RCBC Pulz app or check their statement of account to confirm the discount.
  • If the card number used for registration does not match the card number used for payment, the discount will not be applied, and the cardholder shall bear full responsibility.
  • Subscription products (auto-renewal) with recurring transactions are not eligible for this promotion.
  • The actual payment amount is subject to the final debit confirmation by the issuing bank.
  • In the event of returns or refunds (including pre-authorization cancellations), only the actual amount paid by the cardholder will be refunded. The discount amount will not be refunded.
