I began receiving calls from unfamiliar landline numbers, and upon answering, either silence ensues or the call gets disconnected immediately. As it turns out, these are marketing calls originating from Citibank PH.
The good news is you can actually stop them from calling you! You have to visit the Citibank website and NOT through the mobile app. Try doing the following:
- Go to www.citibank.com.ph
- Log in to your account.
- Go to Services > Profile Settings.
- Click “Consent to Contact”.
- Click on “EDIT” and set “OK to Call” to “NO for Marketing Messages”.
- Click on “Confirm”.
